About Gemstone - Mineral : What is Chalcedony Crystal

Chalcedony, is basically a quartz in Microcrystalline ( so friggin tiny ) form.

With the Chemical formula SiO2 of Silicone Dioxide

Chalcedony come with so many color, some a bit monotone for my taste but some other is sounique and beautiful.

The color are White, blue, red, green, yellow, orange, brown, pink, purple, gray, black, colorless, and multicolored. Often banded in many different color combinations, and a few rarer forms are iridescent

Its Quartz, so the MOH scale is 7, one scale below topaz.

Sapphire is 9

For comparison, steel nail is around 6.5 in hardness.
